Kate Meyer is a registered psychologist with over twenty years’ experience working primarily with the Australian Defence Force. She has provided psychological support to individuals in various locations - including the Antarctic, and on-board warships in the Middle East, United States, and South East Asia - and understands firsthand that navigating life's challenges will not always be smooth sailing.
Kate is interested in the development of good mental health, wellbeing, and resilience, and she has a special interest in the health and wellbeing of veterans. As the founder of Maximise Your Potential, Kate adopts a solution-focused and strengths-based approach to promote positive self-growth to help others achieve their goals and reach their true potential.
Kate also has an interest in Energy Psychology which comprises a family of methods designed to improve your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. Energy Psychology recognises the powerful connection between the mind and the body and is an evidenced-based treatment which focuses on your thoughts, feelings, and emotions while you activate some aspect of the bio-energy system of your body. One of the most common techniques is Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as "Tapping".

Kate has completed a Master of Organisational Psychology at Monash University and a Diploma of Positive Psychology and Wellbeing through the Langley Group Institute.
